Thomas Phelps

 

Thomas Phelps has helped some of the world's leading companies, as well as middle-market companies, improve their operations.  His past clients include Compaq, Seagate, Custom Building Products, Hewlett-Packard, Wallace Computer Services, Nissan, and Warner Bros.  The work done for these clients has saved millions of dollars in logistics and supply chain costs.

 

Mr. Phelps' domain expertise encompasses both the operational and technical aspects of supply chain management, which enables him to focus on operational improvements and technology improvements simultaneously.  

 

Thomas Phelps' experience base includes:

Much of this experience was gained while employed as a management consultant with two Big-5 consulting firms known for their thought leadership in supply chain: Andersen Consulting (now known as Accenture), and Ernst & Young Management Consulting (now known as Cap Gemini Ernst & Young).  He also served as Vice President of a large third-party logistics company that specialized in same-day fulfillment and delivery.

Robert Frinier

 

Robert Frinier has more than 30 years of in-depth supply chain management operations and consulting experience.  His operations experience includes executive positions in all areas of the supply chain, including, nine years as VP of Logistics and eight years as VP of Purchasing and Information Systems for Nissan North America. Experiences in strategic and tactical management consulting include assisting consumer products / electronics companies and distribution center operations in achieving process and technology improvements.

  • Led a supply chain diagnostics review at a consumer electronics company. 70 recommendations for inventory management and organizational improvement led to 18% savings in distribution and inventory costs.

  • Conducted a reverse logistics process improvement and outsourcing project for a consumer electronics company which resulted in annual savings of $1.5 mil / 45%.

  • Initiated integration of Nissan’s US, Canada and Mexican logistics operations which achieved 10% annual cost reductions while maintaining higher service levels than competitors.

  • Nissan Corporate Officer responsible for Purchasing, Information Systems, Planning and Production Control. Average savings of 25% on component purchases. Developed over $20M of international exports with savings averaging 20%. Implemented state-of-the-art production control and industrial engineering functions where just-in-time systems reduced inventory by 50%.

 

Haig Bazoian

 

Haig Bazoian, experienced facilitator of Strategic Planning meetings, guides management through a Team Planning process to integrated strategic, operational and implementation plans.  Mr. Bazoian has extensive top management and Strategic Planning Consultant experience.

 

Haig Bazoian brings a realistic viewpoint to the strategic planning process for developing supply chain strategy.  As President of Xerox Computer Services for seven years, he was responsible for initiating, developing and implementing major strategic and tactical plans.  Haig joined Xerox Computer Services at its founding and guided it through profitable growth from $20-$90 million.  The rapid growth of this technology-based company required close coordination of functional strategies and a constant focus on strategic planning and implementation.
